If you have ever pondered where to find a favorite recipe amongst your Eat What You Love cookbook collection, you are not alone. With five cookbooks, containing a collective of over 1,000 recipes, even I, who tested and wrote every recipe, scratch my head at times when trying to remember which recipe is where.
No longer! With an incredible kick start from a very kind reader, Sue Masterson, I’ve created a downloadable comprehensive recipe listing index that includes the recipes from all five of my Eat What You Love cookbooks. Below you will find both a PDF and a “Word” document compatible version. With either, you can have it at your fingertips on your device or print it – either entire thing or only the pages you require.
While both make it easy to browse across the books and find a recipe by book and page, I LOVE that with the Word version you can use the “search” feature (located on the upper right hand side of the screen). You can search for a recipe by title (hello Orange Chicken), an ingredient (such as Strawberry), or a term in a title (like 30-Minute, Quick, or Crispy). Any matches will be highlighted throughout the document and you can quickly scroll to see them all.
OF NOTE: Because the index is composed of recipe titles, and not sub-categorized by ingredient, an ingredient must appear in a title to be highlighted (i.e. if you type in crab, crab cakes would be highlighted but not Seafood Louie Salad which also uses crab). Fortunately, most of the titles of my recipes include the main ingredient(s).
As always, I am grateful for your support and hope you find this new tool a welcome addition to your Eat What You Love collection.
LOVE,
