With only 120 calories (with whip!), this luscious pumpkin latte is easy on your waistline – and your wallet!
Made famous by Starbuck’s, this holiday season favorite seems to get more popular every year. Unfortunately, with 300 calories and the equivalent of 10 teaspoons of sugar in a small drink, ordering this at a coffee shop can be less than joyful.
With warm pumpkin spice and creamy pumpkin, this equally tasty drink has 60 % fewer calories, and better yet, none of the added sugar. It also boasts 70 % less fat, and when it comes to your wallet, instead of $4.00, this drink can be made at home in minutes for just 50 cents!!
Did I mention it also delivers 50% of your daily requirement of Vitamin A and 25% for calcium? Yep, it’s as good-for-you as it is good tasting! If you prefer a non-dairy alternative, the most similar in taste and creaminess to low-fat milk is a light vanilla soy beverage (like Silk brand). When using it, subtract 35 calories and 1 Smart Point.
