You’ll find easy everyday soups for as few as 0 points (like my Quickie Kale and Calico Bean), more marvelous muffins and quick breads for 4 to 5 points (for double-digit savings), Guilt-Free Watergate gelatin salad clocking in with only 2 points and easy weeknight entrees like creamy Speedy Spinach and Artichoke Chicken and 20-Minute Chicken and Bean Stew for just 2 Smart Points. (Did I mention you can impress friends, family, and fellow WW with Cherry-Filled Black Forest Cupcakes topped with whipped cream cheese frosting for a skinny 5 points?)

Please do take a minute to peek at the nutrition notes on the last page. Each recipe was re-calculated taking into consideration that no nutritional value is assigned to zero point foods in recipes (with the exception of beverages).

As all nutrient values for all ingredients are included in the nutrition information in the book, the nutrient values pertaining to 0 point foods has to be subtracted before being placed into a calculator or “app” to get the correct value. If not, the value may come out incorrectly high. When using the recipe builder, there are often many choices for the same ingredient (reduced fat cheese or bread for example). If what is selected is different from what I used in the recipe, the point value may also differ. You can find more information about the ingredients I use in the front of the book.

MOST OF ALL, I am thrilled to say that because my recipes have always been low in sugar, saturated fat, and calories – and generous in satisfying protein – they’re a delicious fit for anyone watching their weight (or counting points!).

Best,
